Rimflow Pool Construction Services

Features That Define Rimflow Pools
360-Degree Overflow Precision
Unlike an infinity edge, a perimeter overflow pool circulates water around the entire pool, creating a seamless knife-edge water surface.
Superior Surface Water Clarity
Continuous 360-degree overflow removes surface debris as water flows over every edge, helping maintain a cleaner, clearer water surface than traditional skimmer pools.
Hidden Balance Tank Technology
A concealed balance tank captures overflow water and maintains a consistent water level, ensuring flawless rimflow performance.
Architectural Deck-Level Integration
Large-format stone and specialized wet coping create a seamless, deck-level pool where the water sits flush with the patio for a clean architectural look.
Silent and Soothing Water Recirculation
Gentle perimeter overflow creates a quiet, spa-like ambiance while maintaining the signature mirror-like appearance of a rimflow pool.

Our Build Process
Our Build Process
The journey begins with an initial consultation, budget alignment, and a thorough site evaluation to account for constraints like setbacks, drainage, and elevations.
You will collaborate with a Design Ambassador to finalize 3D renderings and a custom gunite pool layout, while the Blue Haven team handles the heavy lifting of engineering coordination, HOA documentation, and municipal permitting.
Once approved, the dedicated local construction team begins the pool excavation, which is quickly followed by steel and rebar installation.
Next, they construct the steel-reinforced gunite shell, which is engineered specifically to withstand ground pressure and high water tables, and is backed by a transferable lifetime structural warranty.
With the shell in place, the team installs the complete plumbing and circulation systems, alongside all necessary electrical and bonding work.
During this phase, they also install your pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and the exclusive automated SmartFeatures® designed to make pool care virtually effortless.
This is the phase where your design truly comes to life. The team installs your selected waterline tile, glass accents, and coping. The pool interior is then coated with your chosen plaster, such as a highly durable quartz or premium pebble finish.
Finally, the decking and hardscape, whether travertine, marble, or concrete pavers, are meticulously laid out, and custom enhancements like LED lighting, sheer descents, or fire bowls are integrated.
The construction process concludes with the initial pool startup and a post-build walk-through (often called "pool school") to ensure you know exactly how to operate your new backyard features. Long after the project is completed, you are fully supported by Blue Haven's dedicated in-house warranty department for any future needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
They are related but distinct. An infinity pool spills over a "vanishing edge" on one side, usually to highlight a drop-off or a view. A rimflow pool overflows on all sides (or into a deck-level slot), creating a level "mirror" across the entire patio.
Yes. We design the perimeter slots to be very narrow or cover them with decorative, slip-resistant materials like river stones or custom-slotted stone grates. This maintains the "vanishing" look while providing a safe, stable walking surface for your guests.
The filtration system is highly efficient, but because the water is constantly circulating over the edges, it does require a bit more energy than a standard skimmer pool. However, when paired with our SmartFeatures® variable-speed pumps, the energy consumption remains remarkably low.
Not necessarily. Rimflow pools use specialized perimeter-overflow systems, but with proper equipment and routine service, their maintenance is comparable to other custom pools.
Yes. Rimflow pools complement Florida's luxury outdoor living spaces with a seamless, resort-inspired design that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
